PJ is a 16-year-old Brebeuf student who began working with Jon last winter in order to increase his speed, strength, and confidence for his high school football season. Jon has been able to correct some movement patterns to help PJ achieve his goals, while keeping him safe during heavy lifting workouts with his team.
The key to achieving growth with young athletes is to teach them movement patterns that result in efficient muscle recruitment. This process translated into big gains for PJ. His bench press increased by 55 pounds (190lbs to 245lbs) and his squat increased by 110 pounds (205lbs to 315lbs)!
